Send a booking link
Put your personal booking link in a text or an email, and the parent picks their own tour time.
A booking link lets the parent choose a time that suits them. The link is personal to you and the parent. The tour they book lands on their deal and is credited to you.
Steps
- Open the deal and go to Conversation.
- Choose Text or Email at the foot of the message box, when both are offered.
- Press Booking link. The link is added to your message.
- Write the rest of the message around it, such as "Here's a link to pick a tour time that works for you".
- Press the send arrow. Nothing is sent until you do.
What the parent sees
- A page titled Book a tour at your location, with Booking for and their name, and Not you? in case someone else opened it.
- The open days and times. They pick one, check their details, and book.
- A confirmation by email, with a way to change or cancel.
- If no time works, No time works? Ask us to call you. asks your team to call them, with their number and when suits them.
What you'll see
- The tour on their deal and on the Tours calendar, as if you had booked it, and a notification that a tour was booked online.
- The deal moves to Tour booked, and its follow-ups stop.
- The link works for 14 days and can be used more than once.
If the link is refused
- The link books a visit at one centre: on a business with several locations, choose the deal's centre under Enquiry, then press Booking link again. A business with one location is never asked; the deal takes that location.
- The location isn't taking online bookings: its Accept tour bookings is off. An owner turns it on.
- asked not to be contacted: the deal is marked Do not contact, and no link is made for them.
Each location also has one public link, for your website or signage, under Tour availability → Public booking link.
