Quiet hours for texts
Texts wait until 9 AM in each person's time zone. Emails go at any hour. Texting from Monody is not open to businesses yet.
Texting from Monody is not open to businesses yet. Until it is, your new deals' replies, your campaigns and your automations all go by email, and emails go out at any hour. This page describes how texts will be timed once texting opens for your business.
The rule
Texts are not sent between 9 PM and 9 AM where the person is. Their time zone is their location's, or your business's first location's when they have none.
Campaign and automation texts
- A campaign text due between 9 PM and 9 AM goes out at 9 AM in that person's time zone. People in other time zones receive it on their own clock.
- An automation's text step waits until 9 AM their time, then sends, once.
- The campaign page and the automation's text step say so: "Texts wait until 9 AM in each person's time zone."
Emails in the same campaign or automation are not held.
Your own texts
A text you write to a deal after 9 PM or before 9 AM is not sent at once. The conversation says it is after hours at the location. Press Send anyway when the person asked you to text, or send it after 9 AM.
Reminders
A booking reminder text that falls in quiet hours is not sent. The reminder email still goes out.
