The front desk
For the person at the counter: today's tours, walk-ins, the person who phones, and the replies waiting.
You greet the people who come in, start walk-ins, mark arrivals, and answer the people who call or write.
Your day in Monody
Monody opens on Today. Needs you shows the replies waiting, the calls you owe, and Tours & tasks for today. Operations has the shortcuts: New deal, Walk-in and Log a call.
The five things you do most
- Start a walk-in. Press Walk-in, enter who they are, and press Start the tour. If they are already on file, the tour goes on their record. See Walk-ins at the desk.
- Mark arrivals. In Tours & tasks, press Arrived when a booked person comes in.
- Add someone who phoned. Press New deal, choose Phone call, and book their tour in the same step. See Add a deal by hand.
- Answer replies. Replies in Needs you, or the Inbox. See Answer the Inbox.
- Record what happened. Before you leave, every tour that happened today has an outcome. See Mark the outcome.
Where to look when something needs you
- Tours & tasks, under Missing an outcome.
- A person who asks to stop one kind of email: change their Email topics on the deal, and say why. See Email topics and Manage what you get.
- The steps of a whole shift are in Your first shift in Monody.
